Job Description

The Benefits & Leave Specialist will play a key role in administering employee benefits programs and leaves of absence and accommodations. This position will own the end-to-end leave of absence experience, including communications & required documentation, payment and benefit coordination, and compliance with federal, state and local statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of interpersonal and analytical skills, along with in-depth knowledge of leave laws, industry practices, and emerging trends.

What you'll get to do :

Benefits Responsibilities

• Act as first point-of–contact for employee benefit related questions and inquiries. Responsible for day-to-day administration of benefit programs such as medical, dental, vision, life, disability and 401(k).
• Ensure accuracy between our vendors invoicing, benefits administration system and HRIS. Prepare reconciliations for Accounts Payable and follow up with vendors to resolve any discrepancies.
• Support the annual Open Enrollment process, including education sessions, system configuration updates and responding to employees’ questions and troubleshooting issues.

The hourly range for this role is $33.50 / hr - $43.25 / hr.
