Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a dependable and professional Substitute Registered Nurse to provide school-based healthcare services on a per-diem basis. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about student wellness and available for flexible scheduling.

Qualifications & Experience

Valid RN license in the state of New Jersey

Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

Ability to manage confidential information professionally

Skilled in emergency response and care coordination

Responsibilities

Assess and care for student health needs

Distribute and document medication administration

Support chronic condition care plans (e.g., diabetes, asthma)

Complete state-mandated screenings as applicable

Maintain clear communication with families and school staff

Assignments are offered as needed based on district requests. Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.70 to $57.70. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
