• Leadership : \n
• Follow organizational policies, procedures, and local laws while leading the healthcare team.\n
• Delegate tasks effectively and demonstrate accountability for patient care outcomes.\n
• Mentor and orient new staff on unit operations and patient care activities.\n
• Actively participate in problem identification and resolution.\n
• Nursing Process : \n
• Develop individualized patient care plans and monitor their effectiveness, regularly revising as needed.\n
• Ensure optimal pain management and patient comfort.\n
• Discuss discharge plans with patients and families to enhance understanding and compliance.\n
• Documentation : \n
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care.\n
• Utilize computer systems for efficient patient care management.\n
• Clinical Outcomes : \n
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to discuss patient progress.\n
• Participate in performance improvement activities within the department.\n
• Workplace Safety : \n
• Adhere to safety protocols maintaining a secure environment for all.\n
• Patient Care Experience : \n

• Experience : At least 1 year of recent experience in a Critical Care, DOU, or SDU setting.\n
• Education : Completion of an RN Program.\n
• License, Certification, Registration : Valid California Registered Nurse License, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support qualifications.\n\nAdditional Requirements : \n
• This is a temporary seasonal position for approximately 90 days, requiring a commitment of 5 months from date of hire.\n
