job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMonday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday : 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 30 PM Wednesday : 10 : 00 AM – 6 : 30 PM Occasional Saturdays (about once a month or as needed) Observe, evaluate, and monitor patients with psychiatric needs Provide emotional support and assist patients in meeting their treatment goals Facilitate and participate in therapeutic and group activities (e.g., medication education) Support psychiatrists with patient documentation and follow-up care Monitor vital signs and track progress or regression in patient behavior Assist in maintaining a safe environment, including de-escalation when needed Maintain Medi-Cal compliant patient charts and accurate, timely records Communicate professionally with care teams to support patient progress Coordinate with pharmacies for refills and authorizations Work with colleagues to maximize resources for patient care Current California Psychiatric Technician License (required) At least 2 years of outpatient behavioral health experience preferred Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred Valid California driver’s license and proof of insurance CPR / First Aid (or ability to complete within 30 days of hire) Compassionate, adaptable, and collaborative team player ?
