Cando Rail & Terminals (“Cando”), one of North America’s largest owners and operators of first and last mile rail infrastructure, is pleased to announce it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the rail terminal and associated operations (the “Cando Channelview Terminal”) of Texas Deepwater Partners on the Houston Ship Channel. The transaction remains conditional and subject to regulatory approval, and subject to satisfaction of those conditions and closing of the transaction, Cando is looking for a safety focus team to operate its Cando Channelview Terminal when the acquisition is complete.

Job description

Locomotive Engineer with Cando are responsible for providing safe and efficient rail car switching services. Working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, the Switching crew must work well in teams to maximize efficiency and safety, while demonstrating a strong initiative, and organizational skills.
