Senior Software Engineer, Growth

We're looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Growth team at Discord. In this role, you'll help build features and systems that provide meaningful value to our users while expanding our community. You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, Design, and other teams to create best in class experiences for our users. You will be reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager of Discovery.

What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborate with leads and senior engineers on the team to drive projects on our Growth team.
• Own projects end to end — you’ll be responsible for working with Product to refine requirements, create technical specs, and projects execute end-to-end.
• Work with other full-stack engineers on your team to build new features and expand existing capabilities. You will work on our product surfaces across Web, Android, iOS, and beyond.
• Develop a deep understanding of our users, and work with cross-functional partners to build experiences that acquire, activate, and retain users.
• Work closely with design to deliver best-in-class user experiences.
• Contribute to a fast-paced product engineering team by rapidly prototyping new features and developing principled learnings through experimentation.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $196,000 - $220,500 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
