Automotive Technician (A Level Tech or B Level Tech)

Location : Phillipsburg, NJ

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Pay Plan : $24.00 – $45.00 per hour (Depending on Experience & Hours Turned)

Earning Potential : $70K–$95K+ annually for A-Level | $75K–$80K+ with bonuses for B-Level

Pay Type : Hourly / Hybrid (No flat-rate games)

What You'll Do

Depending on your experience level (A or B Tech), you'll :

Perform high-quality diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles (approx. 40% Domestic, 40% Asian, 20% Euro).

Diagnose complex drivability, electrical, and mechanical issues.

Communicate findings clearly and professionally to service advisors and customers.

Use DVI software to document work and recommendations accurately.

Stay efficient, productive, and focused on quality.

Support and mentor teammates while contributing to a positive shop culture.

Participate in ongoing paid training and certification programs.

What We're Looking For

Experience :

A-Level : 5+ years in diagnostics and advanced repair.

B-Level : Proven background in general repair with strong fundamentals.

Skillset : Strong understanding of drivability, electrical systems, and scan tool operation.

Certifications : ASEs are preferred but not required.

Attitude : Dependable, coachable, and team-oriented—leave the drama at the door.

Efficiency : You get it done right, the first time.

License : Valid driver's license and clean record.

Pay & Benefits

Hourly / Hybrid Pay Plan :

B-Level : $24.00 – $30.00 per hour + production bonuses.

A-Level : $30.00 – $45.00 per hour based on experience and hours turned.
