Answer the Call When It Matters Most - in a City Where Every Season Brings Something to Love
If you're a Registered Nurse who thrives in critical care settings - whether that's the rapid pace of the ER, the high precision of the OR, or the close monitoring of the ICU - we're looking for your steady hands, your sharp mind, and your compassionate heart. You'll be joining a team that understands what it means to care under pressure and lead with integrity. Here, nursing isn't just about responding - it's about anticipating, collaborating, and being the calm in the storm when patients and families need it most.
Whether you're triaging emergencies, prepping surgical suites, or closely tracking the smallest clinical changes in a critically ill patient, you'll play a vital role at the center of patient care. And you won't be alone - you'll be surrounded by a team that respects your voice, trusts your judgment, and works alongside you shift after shift to deliver the kind of care that changes lives.
What You'll Be Doing
In this full-time role, you'll work within a specialized unit - Emergency, Operating Room, or Intensive Care - based on your training and interests. In the ER, you'll perform rapid assessments, deliver life-saving interventions, and navigate trauma care alongside physicians and paramedics. In the OR, you'll ensure sterile technique, assist in surgeries, and maintain seamless communication with surgical teams. In the ICU, you'll monitor complex patients, respond swiftly to sudden changes, and manage critical therapies with precision. No matter the unit, you'll advocate for patients, educate families, and help lead the kind of care that patients remember long after discharge.
Why You'll Love the Team - and the City That Feels Like Home
You'll join a nursing culture that's grounded in collaboration and continuous growth. Our leadership supports ongoing education, clinical certifications, and career advancement opportunities, whether you're looking to specialize, teach, or step into leadership over time. You'll be treated not just as a caregiver, but as a clinical thinker and essential voice in every plan of care.
And just beyond the hospital doors is a city that offers a rare kind of balance - a vibrant capital that still feels like a hometown. Framed by lakes and laced with biking trails, this region blends government, academia, and grassroots creativity in one incredibly livable place. Local food scenes thrive on farm-to-table values, festivals unfold year-round on the Capitol lawn, and the seasons bring new ways to connect - from frozen lake walks in winter to open-air concerts in summer.
Whether you're paddleboarding at sunrise or catching a local play after your shift, it's a city that invites you to live fully - even on your days off.
What We're Looking For
You'll need an active RN license in Wisconsin, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications. Additional certifications like PALS and TNCC are highly valued, especially in emergency and intensive care. While critical care or perioperative experience is preferred, we're open to new grads with strong clinical training and a calling to serve in high-acuity environments. Clear communication, emotional resilience, and strong teamwork skills are essential - because here, nursing is a team sport.
Let's Deliver the Kind of Care That Lives On Long After the Shift Ends
If you're ready to bring your clinical skills and your whole heart to a team that matches your energy and commitment, we'd love to welcome you. Apply today and help shape the future of patient care - in a place where the work is meaningful, and the life around it is pretty incredible, too.
