Overview

Lead Teacher (Certified) – Full-Time | $17-$19 per hour

Location : The Learning Experience - Owings Mills

Schedule : Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Age group : Infants (requires Infant / Toddler certification), or 2 year old classroom (requires Infant / Toddler certification & Preschool certification)

Job Summary

The Learning Experience is seeking an -ertified Lead Teacher to join our childcare team. We're looking for passionate educators who want to inspire young children ages 6 weeks to 2 through play-based learning, creativity, and discovery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and guide assistant teachers.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and fun classroom environment.
  • Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
  • Communicate with families about children's progress.
  • Partner with leadership to meet classroom and enrollment goals.

Qualifications

  • ECE certification (90 hours)
  • At least 6 months of teaching experience (1+ year preferred).
  • Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • CPR / First Aid certification (preferred).
