Duties and Responsibilities
Must maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performanceMust be able to follow written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks on scheduleRead, write, and communicate in English & understand basic mathLearn from directions, observations, and mistakes and apply procedures using good judgmentComplete all applicable documentation, recordkeeping and daily inventoryChecking in drivers, getting samples from bulk railcars, and keeping the facility cleanSome computer experience neededMust be able to bend, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds alone, twist, and climb. Must be able to talk and hear well enough to communicate with all team members, vendors, and customers 100% of the timeParticipate in safety briefings, job briefings, and pass along information from team members, management or customerOperate in a manner where SAFETY and the ENVIRONMENT are of the highest importanceClimb onto top and underneath railcars in order to inspect, hook up, disconnect and sealPerform daily inspections on all stationary and mobile equipmentPrepare equipment for product transfer.Start, stop, and operate equipment within defined operating parametersPerform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirementsAbility to work outside majority of the time and withstand extreme weather conditionsMust be able to work with a team, take direction and follow work rules, as well as, take on additional job responsibilities as needed or assignedFlexibility to work overtime and weekends based on production needsGoal oriented and results drivenAbility to learn and become proficient in all aspects of the operationAbility to perform physically demanding workOther duties as assignedRequirements
High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's licenseMechanical aptitudeExperience with computersMachines, Tools, Special Equipment, Personal Protective Equipment Used
