Job Summaries :

We are seeking a dedicated Welder Apprentice to join our team. This role focuses on developing skills in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, as well as fabrication and mechanical support. As part of our non-union workforce, the apprentice will also cross-train in Mechanical and Electrical departments. This position is primarily shop-based with little to no travel required.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform welding and fabrication tasks for industrial machinery installations and repairs.
Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
Assist in mechanical equipment setup and maintenance.
Conduct field repairs on piping, structural steel, and machine frames.
Cross-train in mechanical maintenance and basic electrical work.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet job timelines.
Follow proper housekeeping and safety procedures.

Requirements : Qualifications :

Basic proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

Basic fabrication skills and mechanical aptitude.

Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics.

Interest in learning electrical systems and controls.

Familiarity with OSHA regulations and PPE.

OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided if not held).
