Inventory Clerk
Join our dynamic warehouse team as an Inventory Clerk, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes. You will be responsible for conducting counts of finished goods and raw materials, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and supporting core warehouse operations including receiving, picking, shipping, and custom packaging.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct finished goods and raw material counts to ensure storage locations are accurate.
- Daily reconciliation of inventory and investigate discrepancies in counts.
- Understand and apply the principles of FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) and FIFO (First-In-First-Out) for inventory management.
- Monitor and identify short shelf life, expired, and slow-moving inventory to reduce product loss.
- Take ownership of mock recalls and product withdrawals, systematically following product lot codes and transactions.
- Maintain the cycle count schedule to monitor the health of lot / item / location integrity and prioritize issues causing inventory discrepancies.
- Identify, investigate, and perform root cause analysis on all inventory discrepancies.
- Support the team and assist where needed.
Essential Skills :
Proficiency in inventory control, cycle counts, and data entry.Experience with warehouse inventory, shipping, and receiving.Strong computer skills, including Outlook and Excel.Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.Experience with vehicle mounted units / scanning.Experience with large ERP systems, preferably Oracle.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications :
Experience in making reports from Excel.Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.Fluent in written and verbal English.Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day.At least 12-18 months of relevant experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment :
Work in a room temperature environment, collaborating closely with the inventory manager in an office setting. The role may require physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Leandro, California.
Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $22.50 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
