Oncology Care Specialist

About the Job We are seeking a skilled Infusion RN to join our team at Covenant Children's Hospital. As an Infusion RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, and venous access devices. You will apply the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinate the team to intervene according to assessment findings.

Key Responsibilities : Provide patient-centered care and education to patients and families

Coordinate the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery

Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have :

Nursing degree / diploma

Texas Registered Nurse License

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Within 1 year of hire : ALS certification

Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

12 cancer-related continuing education units within 1 year of hire

Oncology experience

Chemotherapy administration experience
