Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required) (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required) 1+ years as an Advanced Practice Provider (Preferred) Demonstrated leadership skills. (Required proficiency) Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. (Required proficiency) Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. Description
Seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for the Medical House role at UH St. John's Medical Center. The APP will be responsible for hospital admissions, general house calls, coordination of care and discharge planning in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. The APP will be required to rotate to cover the Rapid Observation Unit. The schedule is primarily day shift with occasional evenings, and rotating weekends / holidays. APP experience is preferred and will consider new grads for the New Grad APP Training Program.
