Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities include :
Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial laundry equipment and related equipmentKnowledge of water re-use systems is desirableMaintain the cleanliness of the equipment and the laundry room by performing weekly blowdowns of the equipment and duct work to eliminate the build-up of lintWorking as part of a team you must be willing and able to help in other areas of the Facilities department when neededDesign and implement plans for new installationsCoordinate and schedule outside contractors as neededQualifications include :
Must have experience working on Milnor washers and dryers, Chicago Sheet Folder / Ironer, Chicago Towel FolderMust have experience sweating and soldering joints as well as solder repairs on leaking plumbing linesMust have strong problem-solving skillsMust have strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain a high level of energy and take proactive and strategic approach to issuesMust have the ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalismMust have the ability to work as a team or on your ownMust be able to communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organizationHighly organized and detailedKnowledge of basic computer skills is preferredThree years' experience in the Facilities Maintenance field in the hospitality or related field preferredAbility to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalismAbility to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive approach to dealing with issuesAbility to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organizationHighly organized and detail-orientedStarting salary
