About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS required, NIHSS required (both must be AHA)

Must-Have : 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing

Description :

Strict 75-mile radius from address on the traveler's driver's license to the hospital.

Experience minimum of 2 years in specialty.

The unit has 44 beds and 40 staff members.

Ratios are generally 1 : 5, possibly 1 : 6 for both days and nights.

Telemetry is available but monitored on a different unit.

Floating may occur to all acute care units and other designated areas.

General orientation is 1 week and includes EMR training.

Floor-specific orientation is 2 days.

Housing options are available in gated, safe, and clean communities.

Cancellation policy is 12 hours every 2 weeks.

Charting system used is MEDITECH - 6.1.

A BSN is not required.
