Overview
Long-Lewis of Hoover is seeking a Mobile Service Warranty Administrator to support our growing service operations. This individual will be responsible for preparing, recording, and submitting warranty claims to the dealership's manufacturers for prior approval, specifically related to mobile service work
Responsibilities
- Prepare, record, and submit mobile service warranty claims to manufacturers for prior approval
- Track all warranty claims and ensure proper documentation and timely follow-up
- Ensure the dealership receives accurate reimbursement for completed warranty work
- Maintain records in compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support service operations
- Communicate effectively with technicians, service advisors, manufacturers, and customers as needed
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED requiredPrevious experience in a dealership Service Department or warranty administration preferredTechnical Knowledge
Basic understanding of automobile systems and manufacturer warranty processesFamiliarity with warranty terms, conditions, and compliance standardsSkills & Abilities
Excellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keepingEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasksProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with dealership DMS or warranty management software is a plusAbility to collaborate across teams including service advisors, technicians, and managersSoft Skills
