Overview
Are you passionate about supporting high-quality early learning for children from birth to age five? Join the Center for Early Succes team as an Early Learning Specialist , where you’ll help strengthen early childhood education across Virginia. In this role, you will provide professional development, coaching, and support to early educators, directly impacting the quality of care and education for young children.
Duties
- Collaborate with early childhood providers to strengthen teacher-child interactions.
- Deliver individualized coaching, technical assistance, and professional development opportunities.
- Support programs in understanding and implementing quality improvement plans.
- Participate in community engagement efforts and statewide quality initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education (or a related field).Experience working with children ages 0–5 in early childhood settings.Knowledge of or certification in CLASS® (Infant, Toddler, and / or Pre-K) preferred (training available if not certified).Strong communication, coaching, and adult learning facilitation skills.Ability to travel regionally (approximately 30%) to support providers.Benefits
