Our client, a global Tier 1 automotive supplier with over 100 facilities across North America, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for their Spartanburg, SC location.
This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and leading manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity across the plant.
The ideal candidate will have experience in process development, project management, continuous improvement, and working with automation and welding technologies in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain standardized work for operations to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Monitor production performance and drive improvements in both quality and output
- Lead process development for new and existing manufacturing operations
- Drive optimization and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
- Project Management
- Prepare calculations for conversions, auxiliary systems, and manufacturing aids
- Collaborate with production teams on capacity planning and resource allocation
- Serve as design management interface with engineering
- Ensure welding-related topics are aligned with Welding & Robotics standards
- Lead and execute Continuous Improvement (CI) projects
- Conduct and complete FMEAs and special projects
