job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork in the Neuro ICU of a large Level 1 / Level 2 hospital Care for patients with stroke, neurosurgery, neuro-specific diagnoses, and complex spine cases Perform special procedures including EVDs and therapeutic thermoregulation Night shifts are 3x12 or 4x12 hours, 18 : 45-07 : 15; 4x12 night option available by request Uses Epic EMR system Travelers must work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment, except during winter holidays when two holidays are required Christmas or Christmas Eve time off is not approved Local candidates are not accepted if residing within 100 miles based on Driver's License; limited eligibility for those living 50-99.9 miles or under 50 miles with restrictions Previous employees must have a one-year separation before returning as a traveler Travelers cannot return after 365 days on assignment regardless of separation, unless specifically approved Orientation includes up to 5 hours for modules and 2 hours for Epic training Modules may be completed before start or during orientation Active VA or Compact RN license required Previous neuro ICU nursing experience necessary Experience in a large Level 1 or Level 2 facility required Epic charting experience required Two professional references needed for consideration High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
