We are seeking a Full Time teacher to work 8 : 30-5 : 30 as well as a Part Time assistant for the afternoon . Times are negotiable but preferable 3 : 00-6 : 00 or 1 : 00-6 : 00

Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety
- Ensure the safety and welfare of children, protecting them from physical or emotional harm.
- Maintain appropriate child-to-teacher ratios at all times.
- Promote healthy routines, hygiene practices, and a clean environment by sanitizing toys, tables, and surfaces.

Contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff.Communicate professionally and respectfully at all times.Support colleagues and participate actively in team culture.Classroom & Administrative Duties
Maintain observation records, collect work samples, and assist with developmental assessments under the guidance of the mentor teacher.Understand and implement health, safety, and emergency procedures.Support curriculum planning and lead age-appropriate activities that promote growth in all areas of development.Supervise and engage children during all activities, including mealtimes, rest periods, and play.Communicate with families via Brightwheel, including daily reports, photos, and videos.Inform parents of class transitions (e.g., moving to sanctuary, playground).Attend staff meetings, trainings, and maintain MSDE professional development requirements.Complete administrative tasks and weekly reporting as assigned.Refer all behavior-related communications to the Lead Teacher.Qualifications
90 Hour certification, Degree in Education related field, or CDAWarm, nurturing, and open to guidance from mentor teacher.Strong teamwork, communication, and child supervision skills.CPR certification (required within 2 months of hire).Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.Working Conditions
Year-round program with staggered shifts to cover full-day hours.Closed for 12 Federal Holidays annually.Mandatory (paid) monthly staff meetings and professional development sessions.Physical Requirements
Must complete a post-offer physical exam and medical history check.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., and sit, stand, bend, or move for up to 60 minutes at a time.
