Overview
Electrical Engineer II position at Collins Aerospace within the Galley Inserts group. You will be part of an international team responsible for innovating, designing and maintaining galley equipment such as ovens, beverage makers, air chillers and refrigerators to enhance the in-flight experience.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and validation of complex electrical and electronic systems for electro-mechanical platforms.
- Define electrical interfaces in collaboration with system, software and mechanical engineers to support 3-phase power switching, sensor integration, and analog / digital signal processing.
- Develop electrical hardware, schematics, component selections, and PCB layouts; perform detail and system analysis, modeling and simulation.
- Participate in design reviews, troubleshoot issues across manufacturing and field operations, and engage with international teams and suppliers to ensure compliance, quality, and performance.
- Develop test methods and procedures to validate electrical designs against requirements and airworthiness qualification needs.
- Support reporting of test results and investigate electrical qualification, manufacturing and field failures for root cause and design improvements.
- Communicate design needs to supply chain and collaborate with suppliers to meet electrical design requirements.
- Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks; assist production and supply chain in identifying alternative components in case of obsolescence.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline with 3 years of relevant experience; in absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required.What We Do and Why It Matters

Onsite : Roles primarily performed onsite, including production and maintenance.All roles include access to digital collaboration tools and site visits as needed.The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD.
