Production Associate

Prysmian Group, a manufacturer of Bare Aluminum Transmission, Distribution and Low Voltage Aluminum Cables for the Utility Industry, will be interviewing for Production Associate. These will be 12-hour rotating crew positions. Successful candidates must be flexible to run any machine once trained.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities :

• Responsible for completing their job duties in a safe and timely manner both for themselves and their co-workers by doing daily safety start-up checks as well as safety checks throughout the shifts, i.e. lockout / tag out while using proper PPE.
• Incumbent is responsible for producing a quality product, meeting all specifications of the Work Order, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Associate is required to input information into the Machine Center computer and verify for accuracy.
• Machine Operator will be expected to complete job task within specified time period. This would include setups, changeovers, reel changes and material relocation.
