Warehouse Working Leader
The Warehouse Working Leader will plan and direct the work of a team or crew performing shipping and warehouse operations. Coordinates with Warehouse Manager on daily plans and assist with the directive of the work disseminated to the warehouse associates. Performs shipping and warehouse operations; observes task performance; including receiving, stocking, picking, replenishments, packing, palletizing, load / unload trucks and overall shipping functions. Fully engaged and validating checking the work of warehouse associates. Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and always organized.

The typical schedule for this position is a day shift 8 hour schedule. Must be willing to work overtime, holidays and weekends as needed.
The physical demands include : sitting, standing, and walking; frequently use hands and fingers to handle or feel; regularly required to talk and hear to communicate with coworkers; regularly required to climb, stoop, bend and reach with hands and arms; regularly required to push or pull with hands or arms, kneel or crouch; occasionally lift / move / maneuver up to 55 pounds; specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to distinguish shades and colors.
The work environment includes : working primarily on the production floor; noise level may reach above 85 decibels; during summer months, employee may have to work in temperatures as high as 110 degrees; constantly works near rotating equipment, mechanical parts, and lift trucks; required to wear steel toed shoes, safety glasses and ear plugs in the manufacturing area; respirators may be required in specific areas of the plant; ability to maneuver around equipment and on various platforms within the production area.
