Foreman – Building Leaders in Construction

About the Role

Jolly Roofing & Contracting Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Commercial Roof Foreman to oversee commercial roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience managing roofing crews and a strong knowledge of various roofing systems, including single-ply, roof coating systems, built-up systems, EPDM, PVC, and more.

As a Foreman, you will play a critical role in leading crews and developing leadership on the job site -ensuring safety, coordinating activities, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage roofing crews on commercial projects.

Enforce OSHA safety protocols, with emphasis on fall protection.

Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and man lifts.

Plan and organize daily job site activities, including crew assignments and material coordination.

Perform quality checks and inspections on roofing systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC, built-up, etc.).

Troubleshoot and resolve job site issues effectively.

Maintain accurate daily logs and project documentation.

Train and mentor crew members in safe and proper roofing practices.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience supervising roofing crews.

Proficiency in multiple roofing systems (single-ply, coatings, built-up, EPDM, PVC, etc.).

OSHA certification preferred (not required).

Ability to operate heavy equipment (man lifts, forklifts, etc.).

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR requirements.
