Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol the premises of a manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. This role requires routine patrols to maintain a secure environment and visible presence. As this is a driving post, a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate : $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Follow post orders and protocols specific to the manufacturing and industrial environment to help maintain order and security-related standards.
  • Support Allied Universal and client leadership with incident documentation and communication as required.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
