Plaintiff Litigation Attorney

A highly regarded plaintiff-side law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join its Milwaukee office. This is a full-time hybrid role offering the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload including personal injury, civil rights, medical malpractice, and employment discrimination matters. The ideal candidate is driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about advocating for justice. This role offers a path to partnership and mentorship in trial advocacy.

Location

Duties

Manage a full caseload of plaintiff-side litigation matters, including personal injury and civil rights cases

Handle all aspects of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial

Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, discovery, and motions

Represent clients in court proceedings including jury trials, hearings, and mediations

Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court

Collaborate with team members to develop case strategy and trial preparation

Participate in firm mentorship and training with the goal of developing into a top trial attorney

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in personal injury claims (defense or plaintiff)

Demonstrated ability to independently manage litigation files and client relationships

Trial experience preferred or a strong desire to gain courtroom experience

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to client service

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Wisconsin (required)

Skills

Strong legal research and writing skills

Confident oral advocacy and negotiation abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software

Ability to understand and analyze complex data

Experience working with AI tools for legal research and drafting (preferred)

Team-oriented with a collaborative and professional demeanor
