Brighter Day is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team as a Direct Care Professional to provide care to the individuals we support. You will work in home settings supporting individuals with daily living activities, participating in recreational activities, and fostering positive relationships. Come be part of a growing team!

- Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and a vehicle.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to attend the paid 2-week orientation M-F 9 : 30am-5 : 00pm.
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilitiesAssist with activities of daily livingImplement individualized care plans and follow specific protocolsSupport individuals in achieving their personal goals and promoting independenceAssist with medication administration and documentation as requiredMaintain a safe and clean environment for individualsProvide emotional support and companionship to individualsHOURS NEEDED :
We have several shifts and schedules to meet your needs . These are general options, but we have a lot of variety.
8- & 12-Hour Shifts :1. Creative Staffing : Start work at 12pm on Friday, get off work on Monday at 12pm.
2. M-F 3p-11p, 11p-7a.3. Sat & Sun 7a-3p, 7a-7p, 3p-11p, 7p-7a.SKILLS NEEDED :
Experience in providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities or similar populations preferred but not requiredAbility to work effectively with people with diverse needs and backgroundsStrong communication skills to interact with individuals, families, and team membersAbility to work independently in a fast paced, team orientated environmentBENEFITS OFFERED :
