Graduate Program Coordinator
The Department of Mathematics is seeking a Graduate Program Coordinator. The Graduate Program Coordinator (GPC) oversees and manages all administrative aspects of the Mathematics Graduate Program, which includes both Master's and Doctoral tracks. Key responsibilities include coordinating the application and admissions process, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures, preparing and issuing offer letters, submitting electronic appointment transactions, and organizing qualifying and other graduate-level examinations. This role provides direct support to the Director of Graduate Studies (DGS) for Mathematics and serves as the primary liaison between the department and key university offices, including the Graduate College, Office of Admissions, and the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. The GPC also facilitates prospective student visits, plans and executes the annual graduate student orientation, and supports other events related to graduate student engagement and success. At the discretion of the Department Executive Officer (DEO), the GPC may also assist with activities related to the Applied Mathematical and Computational Sciences (AMCS) program.
