Position Overview

The team is seeking a contractor to support a multi-year project involving the migration of the current mainframe system to Moody's ABS Suite Plus. The project is being executed in phases :

  • 2026 : Lease migration
  • 2027 : Alpha project migration

The ideal candidate will have a structured finance background, with experience in securitization. Moody's systems are highly desired but not strictly required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day accounting and finance functions, including investor reporting, bank reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and audit support.
  • Assist with the parallel migration process, ensuring alignment between current systems and Moody's.
  • Develop, read, and interpret reports with Power BI and SQL knowledge preferred.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in deployed systems.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Accounting or finance background (CPA not required).
  • Structured finance understanding, especially securitizations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with Moody's ABS Suite Plus is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and SQL is beneficial.

    • Work Location & Flexibility

  • Hybrid model preferred; local candidates expected to be on campus most days initially.
  • Remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates with Moody's experience.

    • Seniority Level

  • Mid-level to senior; Moody's experience may imply a more experienced candidate, but not strictly a senior position.
