Description : Position : Medical Technician
Type : Hourly, Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Compensation : $24–$26 hourly

Thursday-Monday ( 2 : 30pm-11 : 00pm )Key Responsibilities :
Medication & Documentation Support
Conduct daily medication log audits and escalate discrepancies to the Medical Manager.Complete daily Withdrawal Management Notes for detox clients and input into SmartCare (EHR).Review daily medication logs and update billing notes to reflect new medications.Track medication refills and coordinate with pharmacies.Prepare pre-orders for new intake medications and follow up for accuracy and delivery.Coordinate MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) refills and schedule new MAT intakes.Provide coverage for medication observation as needed.EMR & Administrative Tasks
Upload client medical documents (provider summaries, TB results, UA forms, lab results) into KIPU and SmartCare.Print, prepare, and organize lab materials (UA labels and forms).Client Care & Coordination
Assist with morning vitals and provide medical triage as needed.Support client intake and discharge workflows, ensuring completeness and accuracy.Assist with client transport or appointment escorting as a last resort.Communicate professionally with clients regarding health needs, follow-ups, and refillsQualifications :
License / Credentials : Certified Medical Assistant (required)Education : High School Diploma / GED (required); bachelor’s degree (preferred).Experience : 1+ years of experience in healthcare or behavioral health settings (preferred).Additional :
Valid CA Driver’s License (required).Current Health Screen / Physical (required).TB Test Clearance (required).Important Qualities :
