American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a primarily outpatient acute care hospital role requiring BLS, state license, and Epic experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Primarily works in an outpatient PT setting with occasional coverage in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation
  • 40-hour workweeks with flexible scheduling options including 5x8s, 4x10s, or 4x9s with a half day
  • Day shifts primarily between 8 : 00 AM and 4 : 30 PM, with variations based on schedule chosen
  • Participates in an on-call rotation every 7 weeks for coverage as needed
  • Rotating holiday coverage, typically one holiday per year
  • Caribbean blue scrubs or khakis and lab coat required as attire
  • Uses Epic for electronic medical records
  • Candidates residing within a 70-mile radius are not eligible for consideration
  • All travelers must complete an OSHA respirator clearance prior to start and be clean shaven for FIT testing
  • Pre-assignment modules must be completed prior to start and are not billable
  • Travelers may not work more than 1 year continuously and must have a 6-month break before returning
  • Modules take approximately 1 hour to complete for allied health professionals

  • Current state PT license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute care PT experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Experience with Epic EMR required
  • Acute care experience required; rehabilitation hospital experience preferred
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Must provide two professional supervisor references from the past two years
