Master Electrician (DOE-F)

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a licensed Master Electrician for the DOE facility in Washington, D.C. The Master Electrician must have or be able to obtain an L level Clearance for this role. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

Work Schedule :

Wednesday Friday 3 : 00pm - 11 : 00pm and Saturday Sunday 11 : 00pm 7 : 00am

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Performs all electrical trade functions necessary to install, maintain
  • Inspects, maintains, cleans, repairs, tests and adjusts a variety of electrical equipment to include motors, switchgear, circuit breakers, lighting circuits switches, master clocks, and distribution panels.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and service calls
  • Perform inspections
  • Supervise subcontractors.
  • Troubleshoot

Qualifications :

  • Must have a current Master Electrician License (DC or MD)
  • Must currently have or be able to obtain an L Level Security Clearance
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician
  • Must have a general knowledge of motors, switchgear, emergency generation, UPS, fire, HVAC, and related electrical building systems.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints
  • Must have Troubleshooting skills
  • Must be able to work the following schedule :

    • Wednesday Friday 3 : 00pm - 11 : 00pm and Saturday Sunday 11 : 00pm 7 : 00am
