Client Service Associate-New Jersey
Location : Remote (Must reside within 30 miles of New Brunswick, NJ – preferred locations : Red Bank, Woodbridge, Jersey City, Hoboken, Hackensack)
- This role is remote to start, however will transition to a hybrid schedule (3 days in office per week) within 6–12 months.
About the Role
We are seeking a Client Service Associate (CSA) to join a growing wealth management practice with $150M AUM. This is a client-facing, service-focused position supporting a team that primarily serves clients virtually. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in financial services operations, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Account Administration : Open new accounts, process account maintenance requests (beneficiary changes, bank linking, cash requests), and ensure accurate documentation for compliance.Client Communication : Serve as the first point of contact for clients via phone and email. Provide exceptional service, answering questions and resolving issues promptly.Meeting Support : Schedule client investment reviews, prepare reports, and assist with follow-up actions.Operational Tasks : Process RMDs (Required Minimum Distributions), coordinate money movements, and maintain accurate client records in Wealthbox CRM.Team Support : Assist additional advisor teams as needed and collaborate closely with internal partners to ensure smooth operations.Qualifications
Experience : 2+ years of experience in a financial services, brokerage, or banking environment. Direct experience with Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, or similar platforms is highly preferred.Knowledge Base : Strong understanding of brokerage account types (e.g., IRAs, Trusts, Joint Accounts) and basic investment operations.Technical Skills : Experience with CRMs (Wealthbox experience a plus); familiarity with Black Diamond portfolio reporting software preferred.Soft Skills :Professional, approachable, and proactive communicator.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.Flexible and willing to support multiple teams when needed.Education : Degree in finance or related field preferred, but not required if equivalent experience is demonstrated.Licensing : No licensing required.Work Environment & Benefits
