Job Title : Geotechnical Project Engineer - Design Focused (Remote)

Location : Fully Remote (U.S.-based candidates)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Overview :

A dynamic and growing engineering consultancy is seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to support design-driven geotechnical projects across a variety of sectors. This fully remote role is ideal for a technically strong engineer who enjoys working independently and collaboratively on complex design challenges. The position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact infrastructure and development projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform geotechnical design and analysis for foundations, retaining structures, slope stability, and ground improvement.
  • Develop geotechnical reports, design calculations, and construction recommendations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, civil, and environmental engineers.
  • Review subsurface investigation data and interpret geotechnical parameters for design.
  • Support project managers with technical input and coordination across project phases.
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • 4+ years of geotechnical engineering experience with a strong design portfolio.
  • PE license or EIT working toward licensure.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., LPILE, Slope / W, PLAXIS, gINT).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environment.
