Transportation Operator

Western State Hospital is looking for a full time Transportation Operator - Driver who will provide transportation services to Western State Hospital (WSH); the Commonwealth Center for Children and Adolescents (CCCA); and Woodrow Wilson; deliver laundry, food and supplies to multiple facilities; and provide transportation services for patients as needed. This position will also pick up linens from CCCA and WWC and bring those back to WSH for processing; remove trash from the units and take to the dumpster for disposal; pick up patient property from the units and Admissions Office and take to Patient Property for storage; deliver drug boxes and lab boxes throughout WSH and CCCA; clean and sanitize equipment and vehicles on a routine basis; and assist with snow and ice removal. This position is eligible for : retirement with cash match, paid time off, health, vision, and dental insurance, and life insurance.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid Virginia Driver's license with safe driving record
