job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork in the ED Holding unit of a hospital setting Patient population includes inpatient, CICU-level holds in the ED with medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, orthopedic, and cardiac cases Typical diagnoses include chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, and pneumonia Handles procedures such as s / p cath with stent, ICD / pacer insertions, and cardioversions Manages and titrates IV drips including Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labatolol, Dopamine, Dobutamine Uses Bipap, Cpap, Vapotherm, Alaris pumps, and Phillips monitoring systems Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00-07 : 30) Weekend work required every other weekend Epic EMR used; EMR experience required Floating within units may be required Responsible for managing both acute and medically stable patients awaiting admission or transfer Must titrate drips and utilize advanced respiratory support equipment as part of care Drug screen must be obtained within 14 days prior to start First-time travelers accepted if they meet Epic and experience requirements Travelers within 50 miles accepted at local rate Active NH or compact RN license required Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with strong recent PCU background within the last year Epic EMR experience required ACLS and BLS (AHA or Red Cross) certifications required Must complete EKG test on arrival References required for consideration Not eligible if previously employed by any SolutionHealth facility High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
