The Administrative Assistant provides clerical support and performs reception duties that support general operations.
Job Duties :
Greet and assist patrons, answer telephones, transfer calls, and take messages
Represents the agency at community fairs and events, distributes fliers and links attendees to relevant programs
Perform general clerical functions to assist managerial and program staff
Handle financial and enrollment transactions for programs and services provided
Enter data and provide requested reports and summaries
Assist with managing the library, production lab, and other resources by issuing library cards, checking out books, helping visitors with equipment, and answering general questions
Assist with retail sales, including sending promotional materials, filling backpacks, taking inventory, and preparing items for mailing
Distributes mail
Keeps resource flyers, and bulletin boards up to date throughout the building
Provide background checks
Conduct a daily deposit, handle payment transactions
Provide technical assistance to families seeking childcare or referrals to community resources
Ensures cleanliness of the kitchen and throughout the common areas
