We are currently searching for an experienced Tennessee Roadway Leader to support our East Gulf Region located in Brentwood / Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, or Memphis, TN. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Tennessee if out of state.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, 15 years of relevant DOT roadway design and plan production experience.

What you’ll be doing :

• Principal in Charge for all transportation planning, design, and plan production for our Tennessee locations (marketing and operations)
• Be a practice builder – growing services, clients, and geography
• Serve as the lead with key client and contract management
• Recruit, develop, and retain Tennessee roadway staff
• Manage transportation projects to meet financial and technical requirements
• Writing proposals
• Participating in and / or leading interviews
• Performing contract negotiations
• Project work planning
• Supervising the execution of work
• Lead the Quality Control / Quality Assurance process for all projects
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations
• Participate in marketing and business development
