• Active, unencumbered RN license from the state in which you plan to work\n
• Minimum 6 months of RN work experience\n
• Push, pull, support, and lift a minimum of 80 pounds\n
• Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and walking\n
• Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support preferred)\n
• Annual physical\n

• \n\nRN Responsibilities\nAs a ShiftMed registered nurse, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to : \n
• Ongoing patient assessment and observation to ensure optimal health levels.\n
• Administering and recording medications according to facility policy and procedures.\n
• Transcribing and implementing written, verbal, and electronic physician orders.\n
• Delegating appropriate tasks to nurse aides and ensuring proper care delivery.\n
• Supervising clinical operations for nursing and clinical care activities.\n
• Performing assessment data collection in an ongoing, systematic manner.\n
• Reviewing and evaluating data collected by other healthcare professionals.\n
• Developing care plans that prescribe nursing actions to achieve patient goals.\n
• Identifying patient / family learning needs and implementing appropriate processes.\n
• Demonstrating effective written and verbal communication.\n
• Collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary team.\n
• Remaining flexible regarding patient assignments and related staffing issues.\n
• Promoting a positive work environment with a positive attitude.\n
