- About this Position Position / Specialty : CT Scan Tech Daily Caseload per tech : Varies per shift & location Shift : Will work 4x10hr Monday-Thursday 830P-7A at Main, holiday rotation Is on-call REQ? On-call rotation with staff Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Yes Floating Req to Sister Facilities : Yes Required / Preferred Years of experience REQ : 1 year experience preferable / 6 months level 1 trauma required First-timers accepted : Yes, if they have previous experience. Cert / Lic REQ : Requirements : BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT) Experience REQ : Siemens experience and Level 1 Trauma experience Radiation Badge REQ : Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Misc. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate Pending State License accepted : No, must have in hand at time of start RTO Restrictions : All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager / units needs. Guaranteed Hours : Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility : Teaching Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma : Magnet, Teaching and Level 1 Trauma Total Staffed Beds : 865 Scrub Color : Teal Top and Black Bottom Charting : Epic Parking Cost : Nights and weekends cost only. One time payment of $20 for a parking pass Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September
