Highmark Senior Living, Edencrest is recruiting for a Regional Director of Clinical Services. In this role, you will play a crucial leadership role in overseeing and optimizing clinical services across multiple communities. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role partners closely with senior executives, community directors, and care teams to implement clinical programs, monitor quality improvement initiatives, and foster a culture of excellence in care delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategic Planning :
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the clinical services teams across multiple senior living communities.
- Collaborate with senior executives to establish clinical goals, implement standardized practices, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Develop and execute regional clinical service plans, aligning with company objectives.
Program Development and Implementation :
Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive clinical programs that promote resident well-being, disease prevention, and efficient care delivery.Ensure consistent adherence to evidence-based practices, ensuring high-quality care and resident safety.Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in clinical care, and implement them where appropriate.Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement :
Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of clinical services provided, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address them.Collaborate with community directors and care teams to establish performance metrics, benchmarks, and quality indicators for clinical services.Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies.Staff Development and Education :
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to clinical teams, including nurses, medical and nursing assistants, therapists, and other healthcare providers.Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance clinical skills and foster a culture of continuous learning.Foster teamwork, employee engagement, and open communication among clinical staff.Participates in the interviewing, hiring, orienting, and mentoring of all new Directors of Wellness.Relationship Management :
Collaborate closely with external healthcare providers, medical professionals, and partnering organizations to facilitate seamless delivery of care.Serve as a liaison between senior living communities and external stakeholders, promoting positive relationships and effective collaboration.Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field (Master's degree preferred) and Active licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or relevant clinical licenseMinimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the senior living industry or a related healthcare settingIn-depth knowledge of senior living regulations, clinical protocols, and best practicesStrong understanding of person-centered care principles and resident advocacyExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholdersProficiency in relevant software applications and healthcare technology and previous multi-community management experienceExcellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills, with the ability to bring individuals together and function as a positive and effective mentorAbility to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesStrong leadership skills and the ability to effectively coach, motivate, and develop othersAbility to maintain confidential information and local travel up to 60%Success Factors :
