FLEX Security Officer - San Antonio, TX

Overview

Marksman Security is hiring immediately for a FLEX Security Officer at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Plant in San Antonio, TX. Pay : $19.00 per hour. Flex Hours – must be fully flexible and able to work any hours. This is a Part Time position. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Ability to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice. There is the potential to obtain up to 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields. Site Location : Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas, Inc. – 1 Lone Star Pass, San Antonio, TX 78264.

Security Officers deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position; others patrol areas and conduct security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers, and check credentials of vehicles and individuals entering or leaving the premises.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest / visitor access as needed and remove trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals / vehicles
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor arrival
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor and / or detect suspicious behavior to prevent vandalism, theft and other criminal activity
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the interior and exterior perimeter to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, possession of prohibited items)
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and emergencies by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report safety or security concerns in a timely manner
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation
• Enforce and follow all rules and regulations
• Other duties as determined by management
