Responsibilities : Lead and oversee all manufacturing operations, focusing on process improvements, troubleshooting, and optimization of tooling, fixturing, and machine setups. Manage production scheduling across all shifts to meet weekly and monthly output goals, including resource allocation, CNC programming coordination, and overtime planning. Provide technical support and adjustments throughout all phases of production to maintain efficiency and quality standards. Foster a positive and productive shop floor environment through mentorship, motivation, and technical leadership. Train and onboard new team members to ensure adherence to company policies, safety practices, and standard operating procedures. Supervise and evaluate department personnel including CNC Machinists, Welders, Programmers, Schedulers, and Maintenance staff; handle performance reviews, staffing decisions, and time-off approvals. Coordinate daily part movement and maintain strong communication across the manufacturing floor to prevent production delays. Assist management in resolving scheduling conflicts and priority changes, ensuring smooth operations across machining centers. Provide technical input for customer RFQs and support cross-functional teams in addressing non-conformances and implementing preventive measures. Identify and communicate machine maintenance needs and coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime. Monitor and report departmental performance metrics, including quality, delivery, and financial goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management and adhere to all company policies and safety standards. Qualifications : High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing leadership role, preferably within aerospace or high-tolerance machining environments. Demonstrated experience in managing personnel, scheduling resources, and conducting performance evaluations. Strong understanding of CNC machinery capabilities and limitations; proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering drawings. CAD experience preferred. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing challenges and develop innovative process improvements. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or collaboratively under pressure. Excellent communication and organizational skills with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Minimal travel required.
