Position Title : Tax Specialist

Location : Savannah, GA, US

Company : Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation

Education and Experience Requirements : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related curriculum required. Certified in area of expertise. Master's in Tax a plus. Proficient in the use of tax and accounting database software. 6 years prior related experience required.

Position Purpose : Applies principles of tax law and shall be considered a subject matter expert in said field of expertise. Must be strategically focused and process improvement minded.

Job Description :

Principle Duties and Responsibilities : Essential Functions :

• Analyze and maintain records.
• Consult with other tax professionals and members of the Gulfstream organization.
• Compile facts, analyze applicable tax law, and prepare memos of tax findings.
• Participate and assist in the identification of tax strategies.
• Support and lead as necessary efforts of the GD organization.
• Must be seen as expert in area of focus.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
