Job Type : Regular\n\nTime Type : Part time\n\nWork Shift : Night (United States of America)\n\nFLSA Status : Non-Exempt\n\nWhen you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you're making a difference in people's lives.\n\nJob Description : \n\nThe Senior Adult Unit (SAU) provides acute inpatient psych / med care for older adults. Average length of stay is 10 days. This is a voluntary, restraint free unit which is licensed by DPH. It is not considered a mental health unit licensed by DMH.\n\nScheduled Hours- Per diem, hours assigned as needed.\n\nThe primary goal of the program is the stabilization of symptoms through interventions of : \n

  • medical and psychiatric evaluation\n
  • pharmacologic assessment\n
  • patient and family education\n
  • physical rehabilitation\n
  • group and individual therapy\n
  • nutritional assessments\n
  • supportive case management\n\nThe Senior Adult Unit is an ACE (Acute Care of the Elderly) program which aims to improve clinical outcomes by providing multidisciplinary care in a safe and comfortable environment. The SAU team' is trained in the specialized care of the elderly. The unit serves as the hub of Beverly & Addison Gilbert's Hospitals (members of Beth Israel Lahey Health) NICHE Exemplar recognized program.\n\nQualifications\n
  • Graduated of an accredited school of nursing\n
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse licenser\n
  • BSN preferred\n
