Overview

As Delivery Manager in the Starkville & Columbus areas, your job is to ensure customer satisfaction through on-time delivery, professionalism, and on-call availability for both customers and employees.

Basic Duties

• Assist operations manager with screening, scheduling, and interviewing potential employees.
• Training and evaluating new team members for process compliance and safety standards.
• Team development and risk analysis (Ensuring RA acquire class D and Driver / Helper best fit).
• Monitoring overtime hours and implementing changes for overall reduction.
• Managing and reporting on manpower status daily.
• Confirming / maintaining delivery equipment and escalating any potential issues that may prevent on-time delivery.
• Auditing company vehicles for cleanliness and maintenance needs.
• Auditing customer accounts for market compliance.
• Daily communication with sales department on market strategy, price changes, display implementations, and frequency changes.
• Assisting with routing, re-routing, and sequencing of all current or new delivery routes.
• Implementing special projects or requests and reporting on the outcome of the changes.
• Supporting in the market when required to do so.
