Mammographer – Full-Time or Part-Time
Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Mammographer with strong skills in diagnostic mammography. Breast certification is required (or the ability to obtain it quickly). Candidates should have at least 3–5 years of experience beyond externship. This is a direct hire opportunity with full-time hours (Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM), though part-time options may also be considered. Competitive pay starting at $40+ / hour (based on experience), along with excellent benefits, PTO, CME allowance, and a requirement for COVID vaccination.
Responsibilities :
- Provide safe, age-appropriate care by performing mammography exams in accordance with department protocols.
- Safely and effectively obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, initiative, and use of imaging equipment.
- Set up equipment, position patients, and ensure safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Independently manage workflow while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
Qualifications :
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology.ARRT registered; advanced ARRT registration in Mammography preferred (or registry eligible).Minimum of 3 years of mammography experience preferred.Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.Strong competency in all aspects of mammography, including patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection.Solid understanding of anatomy and pathology and how they impact imaging.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.Company Description
