Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing keyword research and identify opportunities to grow visibility.
• Write and optimize blog posts for ecommerce store owners—leveraging AI tools to speed up ideation and drafting.
• Update and improve existing content to boost Google rankings, engagement, and conversions.
• Implement AEO strategies —optimizing for featured snippets, People Also Ask, AI overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and beyond.
• Run link-building campaigns to secure high-quality, relevant backlinks.
• Perform technical SEO audits —fixing issues, improving site speed, structure, and mobile-friendliness.
• Monitor SEO & AEO trends and share actionable opportunities with the team.
• Analyze performance daily —tracking traffic, rankings, leads, and making fast adjustments.
• Own our weekly newsletter ( Conversion Insights ) and deliver actionable content to our audience.

OptiMonk is looking for an SEO & AEO Specialist who doesn’t just think in keywords , but in content journeys and search experiences —from Google to AI-driven search results. You’ll research, write, optimize, and link-build—but also stay ahead of AI search trends to make sure our content doesn’t just rank, but gets discovered everywhere people search.

We’re not after a checkbox SEO operator—we want an analytical, fast-moving thinker who thrives on testing, measuring, and improving performance daily.

And you won’t be alone—you’ll be our content expert, collaborating with our designer and other marketing specialists to ensure your strategies drive real impact.
