What You Will Do
This role is designed for air export professionals who want to deepen their expertise and grow into leadership. You'll manage the full export process and gain advanced experience in air carrier negotiations, compliance, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Assess clients' requests / emails, acknowledge immediately, then action or assign to appropriate teamDirectly oversee and have accountability for all Air Export shipments and Client interactionComplete FMC Filings and auditing to ensure compliance with the FMC FilingsAirline carrier rate review, negotiation, and approval processEnsure timely and cost-effective routings of Air Export shipmentsEnsure proper handling of CRP / Secured ShipmentsReview and prepare Dangerous Goods (DG) documentation in compliance with IATA regulationsPre-Alert shipments in a timely mannerInvoice agent routed shipmentsPrepare international paperwork such as legalized documents, chamber documents, letter of credits, etcKeep export reports / stats and present them to the team. Shipment CountsFile AES and review for accuracy and complianceMonitor personal and shared category e-mails in the exports mailbox and sea folderLiaison with international and domestic agentsComplete rate requests as neededTrack cargo and update clients as neededRequired Skills & Competencies
3+ years of air export / freight forwarding experienceFamiliarity with CargoWise (preferred)Strong knowledge of air freight regulations, documentation, and carrier requirementsExcellent customer service and relationship-building skillsDetail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learnAbility to work with diverse cultures and global partnersWhat We Offer
